This photo was taken by Wally Pacholk in the Mojave desert near Victorville. Annual meteor showers increasing in intensity in this decade, more than 160 meteors per hour with a speed of 22 mile / second.
Mr. Pacholka profession as an accountant and has won the award astro-photographer, the photo has been used by NASA and National Geographic.
He said "I love the night sky, I could spend hours looking at the sky, until friends and parents ask, why??" "so I started photographing sky to show what they missed"
